The Big Data Ethics Forum (BDE Forum) is a new initiative that aims to help researchers in the BDI identify and address practical ethical issues arising in their work.

The BDE Forum is a lunchtime meeting where you can discuss any ethical issues identified as arising in your research.  The format for the meeting will be as follows: a short presentation from a BDI researcher, or guest, on ethical issues arising in their research, followed by a question and answer session and a discussion of ethical cases raised by you.

The first meeting will be at 13.00 on the 26th October in seminar room 1. It will meet every two months and will be jointly facilitated by an ethicist from Ethox and a scientist within the BDI.

All are welcome.

Convenors: Michael Parker, Nina Hallowell, Federica Lucivero, Chris Nellaker and Cecilia Lindgren
