DPhil student

Nechama obtained a BSc in Biomedical Sciences (Genetics) at Brunel University London and then an MRes at UCL in Biosciences (Genetics). Her DPhil research uses computational methods to research UTR characteristics and how variants in them can lead to rare disease. She has long-standing interests and efforts in patient advocacy and medical ethics. 

When she is not genetics-ing she enjoys countryside walks, doing jigsaw puzzles and slothing.
