Lise Klaksvik

CDT student

An engineer by background, Lise completed an undergraduate degree in Bioengineering at the University of Sheffield with a specialisation in biomanufacturing. Her research project involved making a tool for mathematical modelling of bacterial growth, which made her cultivate a love for coding.

Lise went on to a summer internship at SINTEF where she worked on modelling metabolic interactions in cell cultures.

For the past two years, Lise has worked as an image analyst at Perspectum, using AI in rapid analysis of MR images. Now she is very excited to now be part of the CDT in Health Data Science.
