CDT student

Kyra completed her MSc in statistics (medical) at UCL as part of a NIHR predoctoral fellowship she was awarded in 2021. Her following two years of NIHR-funded research focused on the analysis of mobile health data in mental and women’s health. In one project, she proposed a gold standard method of menstrual cycle analysis using general additive modelling. In 2024, she discussed her work on the BBC1 coverage of the boat race and produced a workshop at MIT on reducing bias in AI health care tools.

She completed her BSc in statistics at UCLA after receiving a rowing scholarship to study there.

Since graduating from UCLA, Kyra has been training and competing internationally as part of the Great Britain rowing team. She loves to travel, hike, and spend quality time with friends.
