CDT Student

I am originally from China and completed my MMath degree in Mathematics and Statistics at Jesus College, Oxford. I have gained huge interest in the area of statistical machine learning and data engineering from my four-year study, my dissertation in Approximation Bayes Computation and my practical experiences through various internships. As part of the CDT in Health Data Science, I wish to continue exploring these fields within the context of health research and connect with other excellent data scientists through the programme. I enjoy technology, travelling, running and like to meet people that share the same interests.

I am currently working with Prof. Alison Noble and Dr. Jianbo Jiao at the Biomedical Image Analysis group (IBME) within the Engineering department, on developing interpretability of self-supervised representation learning in medical image, with a focus on ultrasound image.
