Postdoctoral Bioinformatician

Hyung Chul is a postdoctoral bioinformatician in the Computational Rare Disease Genomics group. His research focuses on how genetic variants in small open reading frames (smORFs) affect the risk of cardiometabolic disease.

Hyung Chul received his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Economics, and his PhD in Biology from Case Western Reserve University. His PhD investigated the role of long non-coding RNAs in the development of parasitic worms and protists.
