Post Doctoral Researcher in Statistical Genetics
Hannah is a postdoctoral researcher in statistical genetics in the Lindgren group at the Big Data Institute. Prior to joining Oxford University, Hannah received her PhD in Bioinformatics in 2021 from the University of Cambridge and the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) and then spent two years as a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellow at the University of Copenhagen.
The main goal of Hannah’s research is to combine biomedical imaging and genetic association studies to understand how genetics is affecting the morphology of organs, and subsequently human health. In particular she is interested in how brain morphology and the genetics underlying it interact with other aspects of human health – particularly the endocrine and reproductive systems.
