CDT Student

Finlay undertook a BSc in Data Science at the University of Warwick, before doing an MSc in Data Science at UCL, supported by the Martingale Foundation.

His interests are broad across machine learning, encompassing both theory and application. Recent work includes computational neuroscience applications using rough path signatures for learning about complex time series from the brain, and research on generalised Bayesian inference for differential privacy.

Outside of research, he enjoys mountaineering and surfing.
