DPhil student

Eloise is a DPhil student reading Genomic Medicine and Statistics. Her research centres on the identification of rare neurological conditions which are amenable to treatment with antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) therapies. With a focus on untranslated regions, their role in expression, and how they might be targeted to increase the expression of healthy alleles.

Eloise recently worked as a research assistant at the Wellcome Sanger institute in gene editing, NGS, and Covid-19 genomic surveillance, and graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2019 with a master’s in Biological Science.

In her spare time she will be rock climbing and cycling.
