Angus Nicolson

CDT Student

Previously, I studied at Durham University, obtaining an MSci in Natural Sciences, with my master’s project focusing on Computational Chemistry. After I graduated, I worked for a year at Optellum - a start-up working towards the early diagnosis of lung cancer. My work involved the development and characterisation of deep neural nets designed to detect and classify lung cancer from CT images. Moving forwards, I am passionately interested in deep learning and look forward to learning and discovering further applications within healthcare.
