Before joining the Health Data Science CDT, Angeliki completed an Integrated Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MSc in Computer Science at the University of Oxford.

Throughout her studies, she was involved in projects with health-related applications, such as wearable devices aiming to suppress Parkinsonian and Essential hand tremors, Medical Imaging, as well as the intersection of Deep Learning and genomics.

After the completion of her MSc, Angeliki worked as a researcher at the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Oxford, building deep learning models to analyse genomic data.

During her DPhil, she is enthusiastic about exploring how deep learning can advance the prognosis and diagnosis of diseases.
