Adam Sturge

CDT Student

I obtained my undergraduate degree in Computer Science at the university of Nottingham, where I also underwent a 13-month industrial placement at Intel corporation working as a software application engineer. My role during the placement mainly cantered around enabling for clients within finical services and optimisation of option pricing algorithms. I also began work on an informal project, analysing time series motion data for users diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, which later became the subject for my final year dissertation.

Going forward I’m interested in exploring the full spectrum of data science approaches and how they can be applied to health care in a way that can truly make a difference to patients’ lives.
