I grew up in Shenyang, China, and studied for two years in London before completing my BA and master’s in Mathematics at University of Cambridge. Previously I have worked at MRC Biostatistics Unit investigating effects of measurement error in multivariate Mendelian randomisation, and at DAMTP developing a Julia interface for arbitrary precision semidefinite programme solvers.
Through my undergraduate and master’s, I have been focusing on modern methods in statistics. Their application in a healthcare context is a natural continuation of my interest. My leisure pursuits are tea, contemporary music, and online cat videos.
