Researcher in Genomic Discovery
Rima joined the Big Data Institute and Oxford Population Health in June 2023 as a researcher in genomic discovery in Papiez’s group.
Her role involves conducting genetic discovery analysis on microvascular features derived using machine learning methods. This project is part of Oxford – Novo Nordisk Collaboration.
Her research interest lies in using genetics to improve our understanding of diseases and aid in finding effective treatment and diagnostic strategies.
Rima holds a medical degree from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia and MSc and PhD in Genetic and Molecular Epidemiology from Imperial College London, where she was a President’s Scholar.
