Austin Andrews

Austin studied an integrated Master's degree in Computer Science at Imperial College London with a focus on Machine Learning.
Since completing his degree, he worked at the trading firm Maven Securities and the Machine Learning Theory team at Huawei where he worked with VLMs and LLMs.
His research interests are in improving the fundamentals of Machine Learning and in applying it to healthcare, particularly genetics.
Outside of his studies, he enjoys playing tennis, reading and painting.
