Nicole Schafer

DPhil Student

Nicole is a DPhil candidate in Paediatrics supervised by Nicky Whiffin and Stephan Sanders. Her research focuses on the clinical implications of genotype-phenotype associations. She is also a Senior House Officer with a focus on clinical genetics. Nicole obtained her M.D. from the University of Stellenbosch in 2020, followed by an MPhil in Genomic Medicine from the University of Cambridge in 2021, and PGCert from the University of York in 2023. 

In her spare time she likes to cycle, visit book shops, and spend time with her two wonderful rescue dogs.
