Jacob Armstrong

CDT Student

Jacob is a Data Scientist in Epidemiology at the BDI and joined the institute in 2018.

He previously worked with Public Health England, before joining the university's Health Data Science CDT programme as a DPhil student in 2019. Before this he completed his undergraduate degree in Mathematics at the University of Oxford, and worked as a machine learning developer in London.

His previous work has focused on the statistical analysis of AMR and the COVID-19 pandemic, working in conjunction with UKHSA and UK Biobank.
