Rosemary Walmsley

DPhil Student

Rosemary joined the Nuffield Department of Population Health and the Big Data Institute in October 2018. Her MRC-funded project focuses on analysis of data on physical activity collected from wristworn accelerometers, in particular in the UK Biobank cohort. She will examine methods to characterise physical activity profiles, and will make use of these methods to better understand the relationship between physical activity and cardiovascular disease. Rosemary is supervised by Dr Aiden Doherty and Dr Derrick Bennett.

Prior to joining the department, Rosemary completed her MMathPhil in Mathematics and Philosophy at the University of Oxford.
