Franck Nijimbere
CDT Student
I was born and raised in Burundi, located in the heart of Africa. Upon completing high school in Burundi, I enrolled at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA, where I double-majored in Computer Science and Mathematics. During my time as an undergraduate student, I participated in Software Engineering internships at Google, Goldman Sachs, and Coursera and engaged in entropic forces computer simulation research at Georgia Institute of Technology as a Petit Scholar. I am interested in leveraging large-scale health data using machine learning to derive insights that can help improve people’s health. I am excited to pursue this interest further through the Health Data Science CDT and the support of the Rhodes scholarship.
