Eloise Ockenden

CDT Student

I completed my Master's in Mathematics at Durham University in summer 2021, exploring many different areas of the subject. I became more interested in programming, more specifically machine learning, through my final year project on the identification of malignant breast masses using the Breast Cancer Wisconsin dataset. Further to this, as part of a summer internship I undertook a natural language processing project for use in finance. In future research, I am interested in image processing particularly for disease diagnosis.

In my spare time, I enjoy baking and playing the clarinet!
