Lav Radosavljevic

CDT Student

Before continuing my studies at the Big Data Institute, I obtained an MSc in Statistical Science from the Department of Statistics at the University of Oxford. The topic of my dissertation was using machine learning to predict the prevalence of modern slavery in individual countries. While my research interests are broad, I have a keen interest in the theory behind statistical methods and machine learning methods in addition to their application in the field of public health.

In my free time, I enjoy quizzes, playing the trumpet as well as fishing, hiking, and skiing. I also have recreational mathematics as a hobby.
