Yasin Ibrahim

DPhil Student

I grew up in Khartoum, Sudan and have completed an undergraduate degree in Maths as well as a master's degree in Statistics. During this time, I became interested in the applications of statistical analysis to medicine and healthcare, which culminated in my master's thesis on the use of multiple kernel clustering approaches on multi-view patient data to identify sub-categories of diseases.

For my DPhil, I am in the Biomedical Image Analysis group under Professor Konstantinos Kamnitsas, where I am focusing on designing causal generative models for alleviating bias in medical image analysis.
