Isobel Howard

CDT Student

I grew up in Manchester and completed my undergraduate degree in Human Sciences at Oxford, followed by an MSc in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. For my MSc project, I performed a risk factor analysis for post-partum haemorrhage in anaemic women using data from a multi-centre randomised trial. I also work part-time for a local company, OxAI, on various data-driven public good projects. I am interested in bias in clinical prediction models and hope to explore this throughout my DPhil. If I am not doing university work then I am probably playing rugby or cooking something!
